LIGHT BEAM CONTROLS The width of the light beam is controlled by the knobs on the side of the lamp arm nearest the bottom. To move the light beam to the side of the field of view as when using sclerotic scatter or indirect illumination, the knob on the back-lower part of the light tower is loosened. Turn the light tower by the base of the tower which has the beam with control. The light tower can also be tilted forward by releasing the latch between the two light beam with controls and tilting the tower. The latch allows 5 degree increments of tilt. This control can be useful for gonioscopy and fundus examination.
